Editing vFiler unit settings
You can use the Edit vFiler unit dialog box to edit the selected vFiler unit's settings. You cannot change the settings for the default vFiler unit (vFiler0).
Steps 
1.
From Home, click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Click vFiler units.
3.
Select a vFiler unit and click Edit.
4.
In the Edit vFiler settings dialog box, you can perform the following changes:
•
On the General tab, you can manage additional paths associated with the vFiler unit and allow or disallow protocols.
•
On the Network tab, you can change IP addresses associated with the vFiler unit, and the IP address of the administrative host.
•
On the DNS tab, you can change the DNS information for the vFiler unit.
•
On the NIS tab, you can change the NIS information for the vFiler unit.
5.
If you would like to apply your changes and keep the dialog box open, click Apply.
6.
Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
7.
You can use the VFiler units window to verify the changes you made to the selected vFiler unit.
